What began as a labor of love, bloomed in to a successful floral business for Chizuru & Takafumi Inoue.

In 1992, Inoui Floral Design Studio was created by Chizuru’s husband Takafumi to share with the community her much apparent talent for the art of flower arranging.

With an assistant professor’s degree in Ikenobo School of Ikebana at the age of eighteen, obtaining a lifetime teaching credential in floral design by 1988, and on becoming an accomplished member of the American Institute of Floral Designers in 1990, Chizuru’s repertoire as a floral designer reached heights of unimaginable expectations.

After two years of teaching & traveling abroad giving demonstrations to various groups & associations, she seized the opportunity to become a business owner & designer in her much loved world of flowers.

Incorporating her extensive background in Ikebana and fusing the style with European design, her arrangements are stunning & distinctive with sculpted affluent lines of branches and multiple textures of foliage, lush flowers & colors.

Her love for flowers not only shows in the overall beauty of the arrangement she makes, but also in the utmost care & nurturing placed in to all the flowers that come walking through the door.“Each flower is like a child.
